Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery is pleased to announce they were selected as one of the first practices to train, test and offer Voluma XC by Juvéderm.
Voluma XC is the first and only FDA-approved facial filler to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It helps to enhance facial contour, provides a subtle lift, and creates a more youthful appearance. One of the most exciting features of Voluma XC is that it can last up to two years or longer (varies patient to patient).
The ability to offer a non-surgical solution for addressing facial volume loss will allow Dr. Horowitz and Dr. Nichter to provide more options to their patients. About Voluma XC facial filler –
- Available only to patients over the age of 21.
- Clinically proved to last up to 2 years or longer with optimal treatment and when administered by a qualified provider.
- Contains a modified hyaluronic acid, derived from a naturally occurring complex sugar.
- The long-lasting effects of Voluma XC make it a cost-effective option.
How does Voluma XC work –
The product is injected under the skin with a small needle. It works instantly to add volume and provide a subtle lift to the apex, apple and hollow of the cheek area. To reduce pain during the procedure, Voluma XC contains a numbing agent called lidocaine.
After the treatment patients may feel a mild to moderate discomfort in the injected area and may experience some swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, redness, itching or minor discoloration. After 24 hours, patients should be able to resume all normal activities.
